Pick a Date – New Poll

We have a venue, however January 27, 2018 is out of the question.

Here is the new poll for the dates that we have to choose from for the event.

It’s a thing. Do the thing. I’m personally leaning towards February so another family related event happening in January doesn’t have to plan around me >w>

Hmm. Is there any sort of estimate that can be made on the size of the tables at this point ((I know it’s still early…))? Since I’m flying out there, if I happen to get a table, I don’t want to understock and end up wasting the​ space halfway through… “The average convention booth” would already be a wonder of a rough estimate, but I’ve got the idea of those generic folding tables that most high schools have for things like this… Sorry if this has been asked already ;w;

It really depends on the length of the tables that the venue provides for us, but we can almost safely assume that they will be 6′ tables. Half table is 3′.

Most venues offer this length of rectangular tables, so that’s what I would go by for right now. Even if it turns out a tiny bit longer or a little shorter, 6 feet is still a good measurement to base your stock and table space off of.

Legitimate question: Will sitting at a table be ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED or could one, THEORETICALLY, just sell buttons out of a trench coat with many pockets? >w>;;

No, you can’t sell without a table. You can do art swaps, where you bring art to give to your friends, but if you’re selling anything in the facility, you have to purchase an art table.

Art tables are probably only going to cost around $35-$40 for the whole day (that includes admission), and admission alone (without an art table) is going to be around $20-$25.

Depending on interest and projected turnout, those prices have the opportunity to decrease.

There isn’t much information there at the moment, but that will change as time goes on throughout the year, such as adding artist table applications, registration, etc.

Also, panel submissions are open! ♥
