@inashibe this is for you. You’re more than your grades. You’re more than what your mother thinks of you. You’re not a failure.
You’re an artist. You’re a friend. You’re amazing. You’re kind. You’re an inspiration to a lot of us.
People put a lot of weight on our grades these days, but take it from someone who failed high school and is still well on the way to their career – there are always way to get to where you want to be. Take your time. Go at your own pace. If an opportunity comes your way, decide if you’ll take it. You’ll get there eventually.
You are many things, and a ‘failure’ isn’t one of them.
You aren’t going to change the world in the ways you plan. The world will change you before you change the world. Changing the world is near impossible.
But changing a life is easy to do.
You don’t need to try your whole life to make a big impact on the world. All you need to do is make a big impact on someone else. Whether or not it’s positive or negative won’t matter in most cases. So many people have had a negative impact on my life, but all it’s done is made me stronger. I’ve been through a lot of emotional shit, sadly. But it’s taught me things.
Bottling up emotions is no good. Don’t retreat back and become reclusive. Stand your ground.
Don’t let others drag you down. Put up a fight. Prove to them you’re stronger than their words.
If you’re not stronger than their words, you can talk to people you trust. People are always there to help you. Work with them and train hard to combat the words of others.
The world is going to try and fight against you throughout your life.
