I know you go on this blog. I have dealt with you before. I remember when I was first starting out that you took art from me. I have asked on this blog and others NOT TO POST ANY OF THE ART WITHOUT PERMISSION. I, mod Vinegar, DESPISE MY ART BEING REPOSTED WITHOUT PROPER CREDIT OR PERMISSION. You have honestly left a bitter taste in our mouths (mines specifically) and Tictac and I have reported you appropriately. You borderline steal art. Update on the omaima83 situation

THIS IS NOT TO SAY THEY SHOULDN’T HAVE A RIGHT TO FEEL SUICIDAL OR ANYTHING. I’M JUST CALLING THEM OUT FOR BEING MANIPULATIVE, SUICIDAL OR NOT.

let’s get to the first thing: typing similarities and “roleplaying”.

They both appear to do the spacing when it comes to exclamation points, periods, question marks, etc.

They also both appear to have a knack for…”Roleplaying”? 

….See what I mean?

They also use similar words (aka bad grammar): Cutted, Broked, etc. 

Now, if this doesn’t convince you, let’s get to the second thing: similar art style and handwriting.

See the similarities? The main thing that really makes it seem suspicious is that curve, and look at how they both draw the s. 

Now, onto art style….

They both appear to have similar shading and dare I say anatomy. Someone from the Discord group had messaged her, inquiring about them being lemon-sans-space because of this, and this is how she had replied.

….?? “This art is mine”?? What the hell does that mean?

This is very suspicious.

Looking further and gathering more information, we realized this all started when she got her heart broken” by @ask-positive-bendy because of some….Roleplay shipping stuff? 

I sadly don’t have any screenshots for that but trust me, this is borderline guilt tripping.

She is also currently playing the victim card. [Continued conversation from above; see artwork and handwriting evidence]

NOT ONLY THAT, BUT LEMON-SANS-SPACE SEEMS TO HAVE APPEARED AROUND THE TIME THAT SHE GOT HER HEART “BROKED”.

And to make things worse…..

No one has questioned how he knows about her cutting herself. How could he have known? She never made a post about it stating that she did so.

Going back to the writing similarities:

They both used the word cutted.

TL;DR: She has manipulated people, played the victim card, has similar handwriting, artstyle, and types/uses the same words and poor grammar as lemon-sans-space.

@omaima83, you need to stop this, you’re making people worried and placing yourself in a victim role, which you don’t deserve. If you were feeling suicidal this was not the way to go about getting attention or any help.

Yeah this is probably why I had no energy to actually do anything about this beyond telling people to go file complaints. My gut rarely lies to me, and it wasn’t getting the same level of anxiety as… Another instance of someone I barely know being suicidal…

What I will draw- the specifics:

*Please include a decent reference for your OCs. Can be fandom OCs, or your own story!

What I won’t draw- the specifics:

  • Robots: Robots are incredibly complicated, and take much longer than most “general” things. The one exception to this rule is Mettaton EX, because I love him dearly and would be 100% happy to draw him!
  • Anthro furries: The proportions that come with anthromorphic animals are something I haven’t quite got a grasp on, so they aren’t on offer.
  • Unnecessarily complicated designs: If you happen to have an OC, and their design is ridiculously overcomplicated (Read: two wings, talons, many many belts, etc.), I most likely won’t accept your order, since the time it’d take to draw combined with how low my commission prices are would be unfair to myself and others who want commissions.
  • SIN – 18+ content: I’m not comfortable drawing this kind of stuff. Simple as that.

Extra Characters:

Extra characters are +50% the initial commission price. So a $30 full-body with two characters would cost $45, so on and so forth.

Backgrounds:

If your commission comes with a background, it’ll be simple, abstract shapes or gradients! May be more complicated if I feel up to it. If you want to guarantee a detailed background, it’ll cost ya an extra 50% of your total!

A two-character with detailed background would be $60!!

  • one: Non-permanent problems such as a tablet wire fraying to the point of not working, I will ask if you’re fine with waiting for me to replace parts. Otherwise, your commission will be refunded in full.

Thank you for the sentiment! But, while I realize this is a funny compliment, I feel I should gently advise you to re-evaluate your approach in sharing your praise with artists. In general:

  • Try not to swear at strangers. Even if it’s joking and well-meaning, it assumes a level of familiarity you may not have and the other person may not appreciate. Swearing between friends is something that you agree on as, well, friends!
  • Phrases like “why are you good” or “give me your talent,” while (again) well-intentioned, can be surprisingly dismissive of their experience and grind.
    Try not to quantify their skill as simply ‘talent.’

    Approach artists already assuming they worked their asses off and aren’t born magically gifted. Artists in general are really tired and brain-dead from all the work and dedicated navel-gazing, and just the simple acknowledgement their hard work is paying off is a great thing to hear.

  • Not all artists are English speakers, and depend on form-translations. Try to avoid any negative-sounding phrases (especially slang, as English is FULL of negative-sounding slang that actually mean the opposite), and keep things simple, so tragic miscommunication doesn’t happen in translation.
  • Try to give specifics about what you like about the artist’s results, and what those results make you feel (that isn’t jealousy, envy, or defeatist). You are offering compliments about a creator’s work, try to make this as little about you as possible.

I know there are people out there who don’t mind, and that’s perfectly fine! But, also, in my experience I know far more people who can get exasperated by this, and nothing sucks more than your good intentions being fumbled by miscommunication.

I did accidentally make. uh. Well I overworked myself and forgot to eat and got sick for a day. 

I….. really didn’t mean to.

Actually- I had a similar event like the one you described back when I was working on AskError, CPAU, and Aftertale all at once- thats why I had to halt two of them. It took– man. 4 months minimum to start feeling normal again. I won’t go into much more detail then that, though, but I DID have to stop them because of serious issues.

Don’t overwork yourself guys, take time for yourself, its vital.

Don’t overwork yourselves. It will only end horribly for you, AS WELL as everyone around you. Even I’ve done the thing where I forget to eat, it’s NOT fun when all that emptiness catches up to you. 

And CQ, don’t ever feel like you need to rush yourself for others, there’s no sense in that at all, the kiddos can wait for the updates if need be. >w>

As many of you people know, I do conventions on top of youtube for a living. A really really good friend of mine does conventions and commission work for her living and has been doing this as a full paid living for years. (I am not going to say her name, she asked me to keep her anonymous so I will respect her request.) She does more conventions in a year, let alone several years, than I couldn’t ever fathom so her experience with conventions including El Paso Comic Con, is very broad. 

I don’t usually make posts like this or anything concerning drama, but I want this to be known out there and have there be an awareness of this issue, cuz what happened today at El Paso Comicon is wrong, and I just wish I was there to do something about it. 

The reason why I bring this up, is because today she faced a huge ordeal at El Paso Comic Con, and this is what I came to hear about today on her facebook, and over the phone.

My friend’s words: 

“I don’t even know how to put into words what just happened to me. I am still physically shaking. Today at El Paso Comic con I tried to bring in a pasta because I was hungry and hadn’t eaten since yesterday. I was told by staff I couldn’t bring it in so I asked to bring it in anyway because I am vegetarian and can’t eat hotdogs and chicken salads.
They brought over their main supervisors and the head lady began to harshly try to put power over me saying “cons don’t allow food you can’t” she tried to discredit me by asking how many cons I do and how many let food in.
I began to explain again to the other person about how I cannot eat certain foods and as the conversation continued I began to feel an anxiety attack coming on and tears were already happening.
THEN THIS LADY TAKES OUT HER CAMERA TO FILM ME HAVING AN ANXIETY ATTACK.
I ask her to please stop filming me. She put her phone away but surely she still recorded the rest of my conversation without my consent.
The head of the con allows me my food in but at this point I am so anxious I can’t eat.
THEN I bring my food to my friend to give hers to her and explain what happened.
THIS WOMAN FOLLOWS ME TO THE TABLE to “call me out” on lying about being the only one at my table. (I am in full panic attack mode and very upset and not ok)
I explain (while still crying) that this is not my booth and I am giving her her food and telling her what happened. (she is the only one at her booth just like she told her, but this woman falsely accused her simply to destroy her.) 
She then tells me that I have to pack up my stuff and leave the convention. I tell her that I paid for my spot and am staying. (Not just as attendant but an exhibitor with paper work, paying for her spot) She begins to scream at me to “take a chill pill” and go back to my table.
Once I’m at my table I am in such a bad shape a friend of mine HAD TO GET A MEDIC. This panic attack lasted OVER AN HOUR and I am STILL shaking.

I am utterly humiliated and heartbroken. I loved this convention but I will not be coming back now. I have not had such a terrible attack in almost a YEAR.

This is something I am scared to post on Facebook but I know it’s important to let people know what’s going on. When my service animal can’t even help me because I have nearly stopped breathing, you know there’s a problem.”

It’s not like me to make posts about this, the only other time I have is when the issue with UltimaAlmighty happened and even then I still don’t even think he deserved the ending he got despite me telling my share of the story. but this?.., is not ok. 

I want to contact the head manager or either the convention center, or of el Paso Comic Con and report this issue about the supervisor handling a situation that should have been dealt with care, and communication, not a power trip and following her with ill intent only to make hasty accusations that she is innocent of,- so far as to induce her with the worst anxiety attack where she literally couldn’t breath. (and her service animal for emotional support rendered useless). However, my problem here is that I don’t know how to contact the head of El Paso Comic Con. Does anyone know how? My friend was wronged, and I want the head to know about what their supervisor did. 

Oh man. People are so fucked up… If I knew a thing or five about this con I’d love to help but I don’t… If anyone else here knows, do the good thing.
