So, in UNDERFELL, when you recruit an Echo follower you’ll get a perk as long as they’re an active companion. If you don’t know what a follower is, read about them here: https://underfellfangame.tumblr.com/underfell
This, for example when you unlock Fresh!Sans as a follower, he’ll give Frisk the perk to use Heelys, yes, Heelys, so Frisk can move around the Underground faster. This is the non-combat perk that Fresh gives, currently I plan to have each follower give 1 non-combat and 1 combat perk to Frisk as long as they’re an active follower.
This is where you come in! What perks do you think some characters should give? I’ll be listing characters and you can have fun designing the perks, I’ll pick some out and if I use them in-game or a variation of them, I’ll let you know! This is your chance to help me design something for UNDERFELL! Just respond to this post.

Anyways, just a lovely collection of random ideas. Some mine, others not ((and tagged as such)). Didn’t have enough creativity for all of them though, unfortunately… ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Swap!Sans
In-combat:
passive: Morale Boost:
– Marginally increases a random stat during battle.
active:
– throw a taco at your enemy to distract them, ending an encounter. Does not work on bosses. @bluerose099
– alternatively, can be eaten. will deal damage to Frisk, but increase their damage by a scaled amount in relation to Blueberry’s level. @bluerose099
Swap!Papyrus
In-combat:
active: throws a jar of honey at a monster, rooting them in place and preventing battle turns for x amount of time, scaling with US!Paps level.
Swap!Grillby
Out-of combat:
passive: prices in shops are cheaper by a certain % that levels up with Grillbz. only when Grillbz is in the party.
In-combat:
active: teacup item full of tea that has a special blend of herbs known only to Grillbz. heals a small amount and increases atk damage for a limited time, [once per battle] / [per boss battle (unusable in common encounters)]. <- two possible options cus I’m not sure how utterly broken it would be to have a guaranteed heal for every encounter lel.
Cross!Sans
Out-of-combat:
passive: less enemy encounters. He’s so edgy even the edgiest AU wants nothing to do with him.
In-combat:
active: X-shaped attacks added to weapons, deals less damage but has a x% chance to add a moderate DoT to a monster hit, scaling with Cross!Sans’ level.
