I don’t need to add too much explanation today. A cape, cloak or long coat simplifies the silhouette of most character, gives them a unique look or presence and conceals a lot of the overall anatomy. Keep track of the character underneath to know where to fold, drop or stretch the fabric. The fabric itself should play a role too. Different behave differently. Movement and gravity are key to “ground” your character in the environment and make it look believable.

If you were wondering where I disappeared to besides the obvious “tumblr is blocked”, I was working on this! Took me SO LONG to make until I gave up and enlisted more people to help, and well, this demo is the end product!
You have been accepted to the prestigious Gloomverse Academy!
Features available in this demo:
The ability to build relationship with Purple, who as of now is the only character you can interact with in this game! Other than Cashier Girl
A bunch of nifty options on the phone menu! Won’t spoil them, but let’s just say the “magic” button in particular is very interesting.
The Demo only runs for a single in game day, which is unfortunate, but the new build (which should be up in a week or two) will extend it to three and add more characters!
Overall, it runs like a normal dating sim, but with some added elements that come from being based off Gloomverse!
(Possible) Features to be added in new build:
The running time to be extended to 3 in game days!
If possible, the second romancable character will be added, though no later than the 3rd build!
Replacing the backgrounds with ones we actually drew ourselves instead of the placeholders we are currently using, and ironing out the art a bit more.
If we have time, might try for voice overed lines!
Ironing out bugs of course!

Just a real quick 1-hour drawing of a friend’s Gloomverse OC! His name is Brady and he is my absolute favourite character, both to draw and just in general! I also have no idea if I did the glasses right but, again, whatever! He’s still great!!
