Please read this notice carefully till the end to learn about actions you might have to perform!

Next week, we want to release our new panel system which will provide new and exciting panel features. This requires a complete deletion of all old text descriptions without panels! Please save your old descriptions until Tuesday 31st of October if you don’t want to lose it. Both general and commission description are affected.

Users who have already started using our panel system should also save their current panels check them once we released the new update. Compatibility issues with old panels might occur but we try to avoid it. Please check links, images and markups in your panels after the update.

What to expect from our new panel system?

  • New design and user interface
  • Choose between 2, 3, and 4 panel columns
  • Customizable button for each panel (optional)
  • Image height can be up to 1300px
  • Filesize limit for images is 800KB
  • Hide option for panels (save them for later)
  • Trusted links (see below)

For the new panel buttons we thought of a way to ensure user security against fraud and phishing sites. Especially, when it comes to payment transactions via PayPal and Ko-Fi. Therefore, buttons will have the icon of the listed services below if it’s the correct URL.

Ykw it’s about time i actually post my dang Gloomverse Persona and actually, y’know, gave them details lmao.

Left is their usual business attire – the type of thing they’re seen wearing most in public!

Right is a more lazy-ass outfit, which tbh even if Gloomverse didn’t have that type of thing, every persona I ever draw has to have that ugly-ass rainbow sweater with red plaid pants, and none of you can stop me. :p

Wand is more reminiscent of a decorative stirring stick, usually used to do exactly that! lmao.

Basic Information About the Gloomverse Game

I thought that I would provide some basic information on how the Gloomverse game is going to work, mechnically and storywise. I feel this is important to put out now in a fashion that is not spoiler related so it can be open to interpretations and feedback, as most of it is still being discussed and developed.

The Gloomverse game will have a lot of features that UNDERFELL will have. Namely followers, quests and a lot of the aesthetic features, such as portraits, and sunbeams.

Gloomverse will not be visually presented in a pixelated style, but a fully digitally drawn style. Meaning that @whimsy-floof is the lead artist for this project. She’s got a HUGE job and is the backbone for it! We’re keeping close to the comic’s style, while still allowing Whimsy to have full artistic freedom. Lots of inspiration from Kingdom Hearts.

• Your character will not have a name nor will you be prompted to enter one. Other characters will refer to you with non-specific pronouns or titles.

Your character’s magic will be adaptive magic, meaning you are able to utilize and sort of magic that you’d like as long as you learn how to do it. This allows you to train in a certain area of magic or lean towards a certain profession over the other. This is what will make your character special in the game’s story (and really, just allow you to do what you’d like and have any sort of magic you’d like!)

The game is about YOU first and foremost. Lots of focus on making YOU feel accomplished.

There will be baddies.

•

You will be able to buy and move into select houses.

•

Lots of focus on daily life rather than action and adventure, but there’s plenty of both. Think of a combination of Starbound and Stardew Valley.

The game’s plot start and end takes place directly before the current events of the Gloomverse comic.

•

You WILL be seeing very familiar faces from the comics.

•

We’re still on the fence about voice acting.

•

Development will be a lot quicker than UNDERFELL, with a free demo more than likely being available before the year is up.

We plan on actually SELLING this game, but not for a ridiculous price and certainly not over $20. Updates and such will be free, including any sort of DLC if that’s even something we consider.
